Eye doctor for Peeragarhi and Udhyog Nagar
Peeragarhi and Udhyog Nagar are among the nearest neighbourhoods to New Vision Eye Centre. For shop owners, factory staff, families and older relatives in this belt, this page covers the eye problems commonly seen, and how to book.
A short distance away
We have one centre, in Paschim Vihar. Peeragarhi and Udhyog Nagar are approx 2 to 3 km from us. This is close enough for a short auto or cab ride, which makes follow-up visits easier. That matters for conditions such as glaucoma, and after cataract surgery, where you return for check-ups.
Eye problems linked to work and environment
Dust, welding glare, long hours at a counter or screen and sun exposure can irritate the eyes. Redness, watering and a gritty feeling usually need a proper examination, not repeated use of over-the-counter drops. Work-related eye injury, such as a metal or dust particle, needs prompt attention; protective eyewear helps prevent it.
Older family members
Cataract and glaucoma are the usual concerns. Glaucoma can cause no pain while it damages side vision, so people above 40 are advised periodic tests. If an older relative is bumping into objects, struggling in dim light or has had many glasses changes, a check-up is advised.
What the visit includes
Vision and glasses test, eye pressure, examination under magnification and, usually, dilated examination of the retina. The doctor explains the findings and whether any treatment is advised. Procedures are decided after examination.
Charges
Cataract surgery starts from ₹12,000 per eye, LASIK from ₹20,000 per eye and Contoura Vision from ₹27,500 per eye; final charges depend on examination. Cashless support is available for eligible insurance policies, CGHS and ECHS, subject to approval. The Insurance and cashless team can be reached on 96251 54575.
